Beautiful Sunflowers

By on July 13, 2015

Collecting seeds from sunflowers is fun, much more if you see them growing in your own garden. Last summer, I’ve collected few seeds of sunflowers in Tagaytay garden. What I did, I separated seeds from the pods and spread it in a dry place under the sun  to give them time to dry. A week after, I stored them in a container waiting for my free time to plant. I’ve planted them on the corners of the garden, some on the borders. A month after, It’s nice to see the first bloom of the hybrid variety. What a beautiful sunflower! Sunflowers, they prefer full sun and grow in any kind of soil. Our soil in the garden is quite dry and rocky still, the sunflowers can withstand the high heat, they are really tolerant of heat and drought.

Fungus on a Tree Trump

By on July 8, 2015

I’m just curious about their presence on the dead bark of a tree, I have had this kind before in our backyard but I didn’t pay much interest. A year after, I again saw the same species when I visited my sister and found these fungus on the dead trump of a huge tree that has been dead for long long time. The fungus looks like a translucent medium-sized mushrooms, brownish-thin in color.

I heard from an expert that once a fungus established on a dead tree, it spreads rapidly and no remedy except to burn the tree. Many fine trees with a slight bruise or other injury are infected and eventually killed by fungus. A long term storage of a dead tree and fungus is no good at all.

Watching with amazement,I took my camera and snapped it right away. It’s just a sort of a smile that only leaves a few seconds to take pictures. I don’t even know when to expect the animal formation of clouds again.

The peaceful attraction which is truly appreciated and accessible from all points along the ricefield. The light flashings of yellow, deep red and orange is vibrant and powerful that changes its colors every moment. It all happens when we passed by an area along the way going for an early dinner to the nearest restaurant nearby,we accidentally went to the wrong way,I guess, wrong lead of direction. When I saw the sundown,I immediately stopped for a brief moment to to capture the power of nature. sunset photo I took during our summer visit in Pagsanjan,Laguna.

This sunset photo is truly simple and unique compared to the rest that was published earlier. In here, you can see how spacious the surroundings and the greenery  around. In addition, the birds and farm animals around added more attractions to the subject.

Sunset is a Peaceful Expression of Nature

By on July 2, 2015

I have discovered a delightful space that I can temporarily claim as my own, a refreshing area free from distractions, where I can observe the sun setting on the horizon. I am enamored with the entire ambiance! The view of the sea accompanied by the sight of birds soaring through the sky is truly captivating. As I watched the sun descend, I listened to my favorite classical piece, “Human” by Christina Perri. The soothing melodies had a calming effect, alleviating my stress. This experience provided a dual sense of relaxation; the combination of music and the breathtaking sunset created a perfect harmony that uplifted my spirits. This moment serves as a much-needed escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.
