It’s a well-loved yet challenging and thrilling drive that showcases significant highlight providing breathtaking scenery rising from an elevation of approximately 200 meters to 1,300 meters.

The Tianmen Mountain Winding Road Referred to as the Number One Wonder Road in the World this route, exceeding 10 kilometers in length, ascends sharply from an elevation of 200 meters to 1,300 meters above sea level. It features 99 uninterrupted curves.
Note: I snapped these photos while we were riding the Tianmen Mountain cable car to the top which gives access to some amazing high-altitude views. It was raining at that time which made these photos a little blurry. It was hazy and the temperature dropped below 3°C you could see the clouds from the mountain peaks were really misty and foggy.
