Tali Beach Revisited

By on May 10, 2018

Getting to know more what each and every place has to offer, this is another family destination increasing in popularity. With just 2 hours drive away from Manila, one point to consider, Tali beach as it is known as your nearest privacy getaway close to home, you don’t have to book overpriced tickets. In here, you can have wonderful choices with a travel time easier and much faster access to all resorts due to Kaybiang tunnel, a 300 meter tunnel connecting Ternate, Cavite to all resorts of Nasugbu, Batangas.

The source of happiness is always by choosing the best destination but for us, it is more on peaceful relaxation so no need to look further than Batangas, we are back to Tali beach for a 4 days vacation. Did you know that Tali Beach subdivision has 7 beaches? How cool is that!

For the adventurous and to those who want to experience a peaceful and enjoyable family vacation inside a prominent community.Take note,Tali beach subdivision is a private seaside community and not public resort. They are more on security, gate  guard house security personnel are strictly implementing policies, rules and regulations.

A walking tour inside the subdivision provides you the opportunity to see scenic view of the beautiful landscape around; Breathtaking cliff site and mountaintops,  amazing coastlines, European style houses and seaside villas, 7 beautiful beaches, magnificent sunset, wonderful singing birds and all stunning view above and below ground.

Sky overhead, clouds rise to great heights appeared like puffs of white cotton and the cool wind blows from the west.So much for this location, got many beautiful photos around. This is to record reality of life and to document places I’ve been to in a very meaningful way.. Now, let’s make a bit review.

List of Beaches inside Tali beachfront Nasugbu, Batangas

There are 7 beaches but only 4 are visited. One thing good about a private resort, less crowded beach, you don’t see any vendors roaming around, no restaurants and food establishments.

  1. Marina beach
  2. Main beach
  3. Sunset beach
  4. Secret beach
  5. Palm beach
  6. Barrier beach
  7. Coral garden beach

Marina beach – Sandy beach with a long stretch of sand attracts tourists and locals especially in summer. This is the most popular among all 7 beaches around. You’ll experience here all kinds of water sports; Jet Ski, Banana boat, Speed boat, Kayaking, beach volleyball to name a few..

Main Beach– A sandy beach with waves crashing against the cliff side. Sea arches which is a big rock formation from both sides provides a picturesque view for photography. Currents can be quiet strong late afternoon. Boat tours are available around, Jet Ski, Banana boat etc..

Sunset beach– A sandy and stony beach with a very romantic setting combining both the beauty of the sunset down to the deep blue sea. The presence of the small sized sea arches with birds perched on top is a special attraction. You can see here picture of people taking sunset on a rock just before sundown, this is a very stunning beach to take dramatic pictures and memorable as well.

Secret beach– Seems to be unexplored and isolated with no people around, that makes it very beautiful. With the presence of fan and cabbage corals scattered around definitely, this is a beach for hunting dry sea shells and corals. The water is clear that you can see fishes down there, if you want to enjoy your own privacy with no inhabitants can be seen around, this beach is all yours!

Special Attractions

Cliff Jump Site– Famous jumping spot. For the thrill seekers, you’ll witness superlative diving here. It is also the favorite photography spot to capture picturesque photos of the cliff by the sea.

Cliff Beachfront– A lovely spot to witness the most vibrant and dazzling sunset of Nasugbu and it is also a good spot where you can sit down on a cliff overlooking South China Sea.

Seaside cliff park– Astonishing site to view the beautiful coastlines. Down there, the breathtaking view of sunset beach from cliff view point.

Beautiful Sunset

All beaches good for swimming especially Marina, Main and Sunset beach. Snorkeling, cliff jumping, banana boat rides, coastline trails, scuba diving and sunset viewing. If you want to get on the water, there are tours getting around seaside or catch a big boat around Main beach.

Visiting Tali Beach for another experience, it offers something relaxing that will make you come back again and again. Back home, this would be an interesting travel tale to tell and share. Come visit and experience what Tali Beach has to offer, I’m sure you will love it!

Watching the Beautiful Sunset, Family Relaxing Activity

By on April 13, 2018

Being up on a cliff gives you a stunning view of the sunset making it the perfect spot for a relaxing family moment as we watch the sun dip below the horizon. From the Cliff Jump site, we soak in the beauty of the coastline along the South China Sea with the wind rustling through the palm trees and the stairs leading down to the lovely Sunset Beach. To our left, a striking rock formation towers over the mountains dropping down to the deep blue sea. I’m so grateful for this peaceful moment of togetherness  surrounded by nature. Balancing work and family life can be a challenge but this is our chance to unwind and escape the stress of city living. It’s been such a fun time together and a memorable way to end the day.

Experiencing the natural beauty surrounding Tali Beach during our 5-day summer vacation was insufficient, prompting us to plan for an extended getaway.

If you’re a fan of sunsets and stunning landscapes, and you find yourself in Nasugbu, Batangas, make sure you check this out. The Cliff Jump site is one of the top spots for capturing those gorgeous sunset.

Fruit for the Butterflies

By on April 5, 2018

How to attract butterflies to your garden? One way to attract butterflies is to feed them with fruit scraps such as mangoes, overripe bananas, apples, plums,  watermelon to mention a few.. They love fruits with the most natural sugar in it. Got 2 kinds of butterflies feeding on mangoes, one of the world’s most popular tropical fruit.

Feeding Station for the butterflies. 2 butterflies; monarch and admiral butterfly  feasting a plate of mango slices.

Dramatic Sunset Over Manila Bay

By on April 3, 2018

A very beautiful sun setting in the evening, the glowing radiance of orange, red, purple, pink, yellow and blue with the splashing sunlit reflections from the water brings interesting foreground and background details. Communicating with the beauty of nature and capturing sunset great moments as it descend below western horizon at the end of the day is truly perfection.

I have captured these photos at SM Mall of Asia bayside, it was the last Saturday of ”Philippine International Pyromusical Competition 2018, the whole area was jam-packed with people of all ages and different nationalities, the flow of noisy conversation from people around was so terrible but it’s all worth to be there. This is the only time for me to capture and enjoy two interesting subjects same day; the sunset beforehand and fireworks at the end.

More sunset photos taken before sundown

It’s summertime therefore it’s photography time so expect more beautiful sunset photos…

Dahlia Hybrids

By on February 22, 2018

Following our family vacation previously, I had focused my attention on all exciting enhancements during that time and much more to something which is more relaxing and pleasing to the eye. Our itinerary doesn’t only just cover delicious foods and luxury comfort, it also includes must- sees garden flowers too.

Eagerly to show what I’ve acquired in the course of my Baguio tour, the splash of flowers and attractive features, this is something that gives identity to a certain place,’’Botanical garden of Baguio’’ the field of blooming flowers and an outstanding park for the dahlias. The best series of dahlias can be seen around minus the fragrance as a notable exception, you can also see here all the growing species in a cooler environment and my free time to appreciate is limitless.

The scene satisfies my cravings to photograph everything. One of the great things that I love is photography no matter if it’s indoor or outdoor location is considerably an overwhelming hobby. It took an hour to finished,  shows my expression of love for the flowers and it leaves unforgettable memories to remember.

Pleasingly beautiful to the point of my interest, my top choices  are the dahlia flowers. I’ve completed all the varieties from single to the large ones. If you like beautiful flowers, you’ll surely love these dahlias!

Types of Dahlias

Dahlia flower- are sun lovers and  tender perennials forming tuberous roots. They are fast growing plant that comes in every color carried on long stems above erect plants and classified by both size and type from the big-sized dinner-plate varieties down to the midget pompoms. Wild species were the first introduced in the British Isles.  Dahlias are very useful in flower arrangement and garden decoration, they are graceful landscape plants and good for borders and mass planting.

Single-flowered dahlia – Single blooms, having one row of smooth ray florets surrounding a central disk.

Peony-flowered dahlia- having two to three rows of broad and usually flat petals           surrounding a central disk.

Decorative dinner plate dahlia – A huge plate-sized blooms.

Informal decorative dahlia

Formal decorative dahlia – The double flowers have broad petals which are normally flat and sometimes slightly twisted and bluntly pointed or rounded at the tips. This class covers a wide range similar to pompom and cactus.

Twisted dahlia – Florets are twisted and curved.

Collarette dahlia – Brightly colored flowers with one or more rings of flat ray florets, the ring collar of smaller florets about half of the ray florets.

Bi-colored dahlia

Double show and Fancy dahlia – Fully double and almost globular in shape. The central florets slightly smaller than the outer florets. The show types are self-colored while the fancy types are bi-colored and variegated. One of the oldest classes.

Cactus dahlia

Cactus dahlia – are very popular for flower arrangement,  show no disk and fully double flowers have a straight or in curving petals that tends to be narrow and pointed star-like appearance.

Waterlily dahlia

Orchid-flowered dahlia

Note: (Not available at the moment, to be added soon. Pompom dahlia, Orchid dahlia, Anemone-flowered dahlia, Star-flowered dahlia, Miscellaneous…)

The botanical garden has an area specifically designed for dahlias only. In the Philippines, you can find the best hybrid varieties in Baguio and Tagaytay, the two largest flower producers in the country. Most dahlias we grow today are the product of botanist and gardener’s breeding effort.
