Angle Shade Moth Butterfly

Angle shade moth butterfly with a beautiful color combination, it includes, pink, purple, black and white with triangular patterns. I accidentally left window open last night and I’ve found 2 kinds of moth, one is sleeping on our hanging kitchen towel and the other, on the bathroom curtain.
Kitchen towel floral prints attracted the moth and it seems to provide excellent comouflage for the moth protection against night predators but what is this Angle shade moth doing inside the kitchen? Is it my night visitor? it is said to be the devils version of butterflies.

The abandoned ship wreck, ”Greek ship called Khoula F. on the shores of Kish,Iran an island resort. This is the remains of the old Greek ship, a 1943 cargo steamship totally breaking apart and it looks like a ghost ship.
Kish Island is a popular tourist attraction and a favorite site for the photographers and visitors visiting the Persian Gulf. Along the shore is a beautiful sunset so with the full view of the ship wreck.

Incredible structures to present the works of art, architecture, and engineering, it is the tower that symbolizes the city,the iconic Taipei 101 is a beautiful skyscraper with a total height record of 508 meters that ranks the world’s tallest building from 2004-2010. It is also the world’s tallest floor at 438 meters and the world’s tallest roof at 448 meters. Observatory elevators holds the Guinness world Records as the World’s fastest passenger elevator. Taipei 101 mall attracts millions of tourist every year.
I have come to appreciate everything here, all the incredible structures. Indeed, the consistent effort to present the works of art and engineering which is more technically and technologically advanced. We’ve seen the big progress and development globally.
Humans aim high attracting international attention for the title “World’s tallest building” to gain prestige and recognition. My feelings widened with excitement along great things. In this century which is global in perspective, It’s getting more updated, fast growing and competition is still going on, more tall buildings and great structural forms are getting better and taller. If you remember the Great Pyramid of Egypt at Giza holds the longest for 3,500 years until the next construction of another. World title started from tall,taller to the tallest. Presently holding the title, Burj Khalifa of Dubai as the ‘’World’s tallest skyscraper.’’ More skyscrapers has been and would be completed in the coming years to come..According to my reference, Jeddah Tower (167 Floors) will be the future next is still under construction so with the Merdeka PNB 118 of Kuala Lumpur,Malaysia (118 Floors)is now under construction, Dubai One (with 161 Floors) Is it practical to do this kind of expensive construction? Is it fruitful or wasteful?

High above, at the top is a leisure attraction and the best way to view the whole of Taiwan.Through the top, spectacular views down there taken from the glass curtain walls,the glass wall provides protection from heat, VV screening remarkably clear and beautiful.

There’s a timer, it took 37 seconds to reach Observatory floors
With a total height record of 508 meter and a total od 50 elevators, if you are brave and adventurous enough to experience riding pressurized high speed elevators reaching maximum speed 1,010m/m. Sometimes you can reach only up to 91F if the building is swaying because of strong winds, that is the observatory floors.

Giant Damper Ball
Giant Damper ball, it is said to be the largest and the heaviest mass dumper with a diameter of 5.5 meters and heaviest of 660 metric tons. This is the reason the building can withstand major earthquakes.

Inca dove- pale gray in color with a short legged appearance with the underpart feathers having dull brown and gray edging. You can see the white edge to the cheeks extending down the neck, more likely to be seen in areas grouping with tree and house sparrows on ground when food is plentiful.

Waling-Waling or Vanda Sanderiana is the ”Queen of Philippine orchids has a very distinctive spotted petals. It produced fully opened shapely blooms with a degree of striking violet spotting and white edging that tends to look better in upright position. With the intense work carried by nurseries of today, this rare kind becoming more accessible however, the rare specimen still costly up to the present.
Orchids are very difficult to grow, given the right care, they will flower regularly 2x to 3x a year. Orchid habitats are certainly being destroyed in other parts of the world, using the modern technique of tissue culture, rare species are now being multiplied.

Fascinating and very decorative in value but growing is relatively not that simple because the ideal temperature admittedly not that easy to achieve especially if you are living in the Philippines. Many people wants to grow only fragrant flowers like roses and Sampaguita which is the national flower in the Philippines because it’s easy to handle but still some prefer orchids because of its beauty and elegance.
If you are an orchid lover or collector, soon you will learn to be an expert grower or perhaps to propagate and breed your own hybrids.If you think about orchids seed production, germination and all structures for growing to create glass house, greenhouse sterile containers and all number of tasks to be carried out. Ohh! it’s a tough work for me! Anyway, all efforts soon will be rewarded to see the long lasting colors.
The elegant display were selected for their rarity and unique color. Other varieties are already common and increasingly affordable nowadays however, the waling-waling type is very costly and often cost thousands of pesos and still very expensive up to the present. Check Waling-waling below.
Waling-Waling or Vanda Sanderiana with striking violet, purple and fuchsia tones with elegant spots which is an interesting combination. Of course ! I want to have an extremely beautiful collection like this one but waling-waling is just as too expensive.
In here, you will see orchids with the best known graceful and expensive species of Phalaenopsis varieties.Long and lasting available in full range of colors.
I was inspired to see the beauty of phalaenopsis, it’s a pleasure to savour. It’s worth to see and appreciate in close distance. Characterized with graceful bloomers is a reasonable return for my effort.
Aiming for more elegant varieties, I would like to have Cattleyas, Miltonias, Paphiopedilums, Cymbidiums and Odontoglossums. Other kinds like Vandas, Allied Genera, Dendrobiums, Calanches and other cool and tropical orchids too. Soon to come on next posts.

Closely observed in distance is remarkably beautiful. White and clean petals with slight pink shading. The good thing about this plant, they will reward you the year you plant them, they bloom lavishly and it’s a splendid stunning display as early as summer.

Highly appreciated springtime favorite Cherry Blossoms of Korea blooming in spring. This is the best time to visit Korea, the Cherry Blossom Festival of Korea is fast approaching and it’s too early to confirm the date, I’m sure, it fall on the 1st week or 2nd week of April.
