 Parasol as a sunshield.

The glorious sun appeared revealing the beauty of the day.The beauty of light gives fullness of life to start a beautiful day.I’ve been keeping this parasol for more than 2 years.A parasol is a handy paper umbrella.A  gorgeous  sunshield.I bought it from bargain sale at the night market in Bangkok. UNDERGROUND SNAPSHOTS

By on September 17, 2012

Over the past years of blogging, I have been interested in photography. During that time, I was only a beginner, of course as a food blogger, I took photos of different foods on the table, animals,  landscapessunset and flowers. Shooting images from straight in front of the subject is easy. For me,macro is the easiest. You might be thinking I’m a pro. now. No! Got some bad photos  and thanks God! more on good ones. I will resolved to consider everything. I’m still learning following basic guide and some tips online and  following the rules of cardinal photography. What is important is the determination and interest to do it. Learning from mistakes is the best teacher and thanks to my mentor, professional photographer of a famous magazine, a huge help to me, always pushing me to be patient and demanding me to do my best as well.A lot of times, my dedication to my work always pays off! How encouraging!  Here’s my snapshots for the day. Got some underground snapshots of Manzanita flower inside the cave.

COLOURS OF NIGHTLIFE

By on September 10, 2012

This is the continuation of my previous post last February 2011.These pictures will reveal something worth remembering till the end of time.It was taken around Greenhills during the 2011 Christmas show. How wonderful to shoot the colors of the night transformed into a starry, starry night. I stayed up late till the closing time , I’ve even waited for the fireworks display which would end up the show.

LEAF-CUTTER BEE NEST

By on

The leaf-cutter bee nest was a waterproof nest.A home of their own choice which is well-planned.It looks like a cigar-tube.It was firmly rolled, well packed and quality intended to protect leaf-cutter bees from rain and, less likely to be attacked by enemies.I don’t see natural ventilation here,it seems to be closely-packed that even the air cannot enter.

Leaf-cutter bee gathered materials from these leaf and the next, you’ll see how well it was cut into circles. Just like humans too, They have different sizes of materials for specific purpose depending on the size on how big and long the cigar-like nest.

Damage on the leaves. Gathering piece by piece would be time consuming.Anyway,They cut it for a purpose and essential to their own survival.
